The Glencairn Mixer was originally developed in consultation with the Canadian whisky industry who wanted to be able to appreciate their whisky with ice or a mixer. The glass incorporates a tulip shape to enhance the nosing function while the tapered lip assists in directing the liquid to the tip of the tongue for the appreciation of the sweeter notes.

But not to worry if whisky isn’t to your taste! The Glencairn Mixer glass was designed for nosing and tasting all premium spirits, especially gin.
