Based in East Kilbride, near Glasgow, Glencairn Crystal was founded by Raymond Davidson in 1981 and is now run by his sons Paul and Scott Davidson, with a team of over 70 employees. Some of the company’s longest serving craftspeople have over 40 years’ experience in working with crystal and developing pioneering glassware design techniques.

The company also produces the Glencairn Glass – the world’s favourite whisky glass – with 5 million glasses being sold every year, in every corner of the globe.

The unique and stylish shape of the Glencairn Glass has been crafted to enhance the enjoyment of all whiskies by encouraging the user to fully appreciate the nose and palate of a whisky. The tapering mouth of the glass captures the whisky’s aromas, and the wide bowl allows the full appreciation of the whisky colour.
